Vitellius, 69. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.43 g, 6 h), uncertain western mint (Tarraco?). A VITELLIVS IMP GERMAN Laureate head of Vitellius to left, globe at point of bust. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTI Victory advancing left, holding with her right hand shield inscribed S P / Q R in two lines. Cf. BMC 94, Cohen 101 and RIC 36 (all with palm branch before bust). Rare. Tiny scratches, otherwise, good fine.
